As an Innovation & Information Technology executive, my career has led me to specialise increasingly in the management of complex global multi-cultural projects and their staffs at international levels. Having diligently worked my way up through the ranks of IT over many years, I have experience in strategic forward-planning and methodical administration to deadlines (not to speak of crisis management where necessary). I firmly believe the use of modern leadership methods (through staff motivation and involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, clarity in communication, and easy personal inter-relations).

Beginning my IT career in the entry-level position of Junior Network Operator working the overnight shift, I worked full-time at night while attending university part-time on the weekdays. I went on to manage technical teams, eventually leading a variety of IT functions, including support, development, networking & telecommunications, innovation, security, operations, help desk and project management. I have been involved in many diverse enterprise IT & innovation initiatives, including major systems development and deployment, platforms design, offshoring as well as internet, mobility, TV and app design, development and commercialisation. Through a balanced-finance approach I have saved my employers millions of dollars in technology spending while increasing service quality and creating new innovative products and services.

I am extremely passionate about technology leadership and customer experience, consistently bringing innovation and creativity to large organisations.

I currently lead the Digital Transformation Team at Macquarie. I live in Sydney, Australia with my wife and two children.
