I am honored to serve as Chief AI & Data Officer of BMO Financial Group. I also teach Artificial Intelligence as an Associate Fellow of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School. Specializing in artificial intelligence and bio-facial recognition, I have expertise in using cutting edge analytics to exploit illicit networks (money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud cells, drug/human trafficking).

Formerly an EY Global Partner/Principal serving the Financial Sector during most my tenure, I led a Global Lab focused on AI, High Process Computing and Quantum technologies. It was an honor to support the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI) as they published their final report in 2021. Prior to EY, I was the Chief Data Scientist of a global division of Morgan Stanley and Head of GFCC Technology and Model Management at JP Morgan. I have international leadership experience in more than 20 countries and have scaled international programs in Asia, Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, having developed and led Technology and Model Risk Management for Fortune 500 firms.

I am an experienced board member. Currently, I proudly serve on the Children’s National Hospital Foundation Auxiliary Board in Washington D.C. I am a former advisory board member of Lamborghini Automobili and previously on the board of Blackguard Inc., a bio facial recognition software firm. I was also previously a board member of the NY ACAMS Chapter, the largest chapter of the international AML and financial crime prevention community. I am an active alumnus of Texas A&M University through the Letterman’s Association. Serving Case Western Reserve University, I was formerly an Adjunct Professor of Law, Senior Practitioner of Financial Integrity Law, and Member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Financial Integrity Institute.

I received my Ph.D. in Decision Sciences; completed a graduate program in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford; hold an MBA from the University of Colorado; received my BBA in Information and Operations Management from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. I also have a Masters degree in Theology.

I authored and illustrated a children's book, Tell Me Henry, inspired by the peaceful protests around the world against racial injustice. More diversity is needed in children's literature so black and brown children (like my son) can see themselves within the pages. Find out more at www.tellmehenry.com.
